HISTORY OF FERDINANDO MARINELLI ARTISTIC FOUNDRY

Florence italy

The Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry in Florence holds a legacy of art, culture, knowledge, and craftsmanship that remains unbroken since 1500. It stands as a universally acclaimed symbol of excellence, embodying a rich history that connects us firmly to classical antiquity and the Renaissance. Ferdinando Marinelli Sr. served as a pivotal figure in this enduring chain, tracing back to the earliest Renaissance founders in Florence. The lineage flourished during the sixteenth century with the expertise of Giambologna and has persevered through the generations to the present day, carried forward by his nephew, Ferdinando Marinelli Jr. who continues the family business.
